Rūta Ambrasūnienė, the author of the book, creator of EtnoDesign stories, tells the following:

"I heard about the nine-horned deer for the first time in old Lithuanian folk songs. I listened to the words, they were as beautiful to me as the mythical Solstice deer, which brought light on its horns. From this vivid feeling, a fairy tale began, which I wrote down for children and adults to follow.
